The A109K2 is 43 feet long, 11.5 feet high and 6 feet wide. The main rotor is 36 feet in diameter. Additional features useful in backcountry operations are: a siren, PA, snow skis, cargo hook and a satellite phone.

The A109K2 is capable of carrying two patients however many things must be considered such as weight, need for airway management of both patients, time involved for alternate transport of the second patient, and if there are other options available. If it is known that two patients need air transport, please notify us as soon as possible so arrangements can be made.
